Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer looking for an opportunity to work on complex, bespoke capital equipment projects from concept through to commissioning?
We're supporting a well-established engineering business that designs and manufactures heavy industrial equipment for customers across the UK and internationally. With a strong reputation for delivering innovative, high-quality engineering solutions, they're looking to strengthen their design team with an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer who enjoys solving challenging engineering problems and seeing projects through the complete lifecycle.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative engineering environment where you'll have real ownership of projects, work closely with manufacturing and customers, and contribute to the development of industry-leading equipment.
The RoleReporting to the Engineering Manager, you'll take responsibility for the mechanical design and development of bespoke machinery and engineered systems, leading projects from initial concept through detailed design, manufacture, testing, installation and commissioning.
You'll work closely with multidisciplinary teams, customers and suppliers to ensure designs are delivered on time, within specification and to the highest engineering standards.
