Job Title: Civil Litigation Solicitor / Legal Executive
Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 per annum
Location: Sheffield City Centre
Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Overview:

Our client is a well-known and respected local law firm with multiple offices across South Yorkshire. The firm has built a strong reputation within the regional legal market and is recognised for providing high-quality legal services while maintaining a friendly and supportive working environment.

Due to continued growth within their Civil Litigation department, the firm is now looking to recruit a Civil Litigation Solicitor to join their Sheffield City Centre office. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who is looking to further develop their career within civil litigation, working on a varied and good-quality caseload within a supportive and expanding team.

Position:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of civil litigation matters while also providing case support where required. The work will cover a broad range of dispute resolution matters, offering excellent exposure to different areas of litigation.

The caseload will include matters such as Professional Negligence claims, Landlord and Tenant disputes, Boundary disputes, Commercial Litigation, Personal Injury, and Property litigation. The role will involve managing files from initial instruction through to resolution while ensuring clients receive clear advice and excellent service throughout the process.

Key responsibilities will include preparing and drafting court documentation including Claim Forms, Particulars of Claim, Part 8 Claims, Defences, and Application Notices. The role will also involve assisting with case strategy, progressing matters efficiently through the litigation process, and maintaining strong communication with clients and colleagues.

This position would suit a motivated litigation professional who is looking to build upon their existing experience and develop within a reputable regional firm handling a diverse range of civil disputes.

Key Details:

The successful candidate will join a growing firm offering a competitive salary between £35,000 and £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, alongside an attractive benefits package.

Benefits include 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays, additional annual leave during the Christmas office closure, and further additional leave following the Easter, May, and August bank holidays. The firm also offers flexible working arrangements and hybrid working options upon request.

Additional benefits include a pension scheme, Westfield Health scheme, and limited free parking.
