About the role:

The Risk Analyst plays a key role in supporting risk management activities across the project lifecycle. You will be responsible for identifying, analysing, and monitoring risks and opportunities to help ensure programmes remain on track and achieve their objectives.

  • Perform risk analysis to ensure risks are clearly defined, appropriately assessed, and consistently recorded.
  • Monitor and track mitigation actions, ensuring updates are captured and reflected in reporting outputs.
  • Contribute to QRR activities, including supporting QSRA/QCRA modelling and quarterly SRA/CRA reporting.
  • Assist in assumptions management and maintain relevant documentation, including NBCC elements of the MDAL.
  • Provide risk insights through data analysis, highlighting trends, emerging issues, and potential impacts to project timelines and delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support effective risk management practices.
  • Ensure adherence to established risk management processes and infrastructure procedures.

Key Requirements / Qualifications:

Essential

  • 2–5 years’ experience in a risk, project controls, or project support role.
  • Sole UK Citizenship & SC clearance (held or able to obtain prior to starting).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify risk trends.
  • Experience supporting risk analysis within infrastructure or engineering projects.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience working with risk registers and reporting tools.
  • Strong IT skills, including Excel or other data analysis tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within project teams and engage with stakeholders.

Desirable

  • Experience with quantitative risk analysis tools (e.g., QSRA/QCRA).
