Job description
A welcoming and wonderful secondary school in Buckinghamshire is seeking a dedicated and experienced SENCO to lead its SEND provision from September. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate SENCO to join a nurturing and inclusive school environment that places a strong emphasis on student wellbeing and achievement. The successful SENCO will oversee all aspects of SEND provision, ensuring that students with additional needs are fully supported to thrive. SENCO required – September start Wonderful secondary school in Buckinghamshire Leadership of SEND provision across the school Key role within the pastoral and inclusion team The Role The school is looking for an organised and compassionate SENCO who can lead SEND provision effectively while working closely with staff, families, and external agencies. Key responsibilities of the SENCO include: Leading and managing SEND provision across the school Overseeing and reviewing EHCPs and support plans Coordinating interventions and monitoring student progress Supporting staff with inclusive teaching strategies and differentiation Liaising with parents, carers, and external professionals Ensuring compliance with SEND legislation and school policies The School This wonderful secondary school in Buckinghamshire is known for its inclusive ethos, strong pastoral care, and supportive leadership.
