Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding full-time role this September?
A welcoming and well-resourced Secondary SEN School in the Redhill area is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people with additional needs while working alongside a supportive and experienced staff team.
The Role:
Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with a range of Special Educational Needs.
Support pupils both in the classroom and around the school to help them access learning.
Build positive relationships that promote confidence, independence and emotional wellbeing.
Work closely with teachers, therapists and other professionals to deliver tailored support.
Encourage positive behaviour and help create a safe, engaging learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Previous experience supporting students with SEN within a school classroom setting (essential).
Experience working with needs such as Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH or Moderate Learning Difficulties is desirable.
A calm, patient and resilient approach.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
