Job description
A prestigious and well-regarded independent school in Oxford is seeking a skilled and proactive DT Technician to join its successful Design & Technology department as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on DT Technician to support practical teaching within a well-equipped and high-performing school environment. The successful DT Technician will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of workshops and supporting both staff and students in delivering high-quality Design & Technology lessons. DT Technician required – ASAP start Independent school in Oxford Key support role within a well-resourced DT department Modern workshops and specialist equipment The Role The school is looking for a reliable and organised DT Technician who can support a wide range of practical activities. Key responsibilities of the DT Technician include: Preparing materials, tools, and equipment for DT lessons and practical sessions Maintaining and organising workshop spaces and specialist equipment Supporting students and staff during practical activities where required Managing stock levels and ordering materials Ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures, including machinery safety Carrying out basic maintenance and repairs The School This highly regarded independent school in Oxford is known for its strong academic standards and excellent facilities.
