Job description
A well-regarded and creative secondary school in Brighton is seeking a reliable and organised Art Technician to join its successful Art department as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Art Technician to support practical art teaching within a vibrant and well-resourced environment. The successful Art Technician will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of art studios and supporting both staff and students in delivering high-quality creative work. Art Technician required – ASAP start Secondary school in Brighton Key support role within a thriving Art department Well-equipped studios and creative facilities The Role The school is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Art Technician who can support a wide range of artistic activities. Key responsibilities of the Art Technician include: Preparing materials, tools, and equipment for Art lessons and practical sessions Maintaining and organising art studios and storage areas Supporting students and staff during practical activities where required Managing stock levels and ordering art supplies Assisting with displays, exhibitions, and showcasing student work Ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures in art spaces The School This secondary school in Brighton has a strong reputation for its creative arts provision and commitment to student engagement.
