Job description
We are working with a school who are recruiting for an organised and proactive School Bursar for a prestigious secondary school in Tower Hamlets. Starting in May 2026, this full-time, permanent position is ideal for a professional with a background in financial management or school business operations. The Role The successful applicant will join a flourishing place of learning where staff are treated as valued peers. You will be responsible for managing the school’s resources, ensuring that all financial procedures are followed with total precision. We are looking for a professional with a pioneering spirit who can lead by example and contribute to the school's scholarly atmosphere. You will prioritise budget monitoring, payroll oversight, and support the wider SLT with general clerical and strategic tasks.
