Job description
Our client is seeking a talented and committed Early Career Teacher (ECT) of Science to join a high-performing secondary school in East London, renowned for its academic excellence, strong pastoral care, and exceptional ECT support programme. • Full-time Science ECT required from September 2026 • Outstanding mixed secondary school in East London • Exceptional ECT induction and mentoring programme This is an outstanding opportunity for a Science ECT to join a forward-thinking and well-resourced Science Department within a school where students are motivated, respectful, and eager to learn. The department has a strong track record of developing ECTs, offering structured mentoring, reduced timetable, and tailored CPD. Experience and Qualifications • Trainee Science Teacher completing PGCE/ITT in 2026 • Strong subject knowledge (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) • Ability to teach Science across KS3–KS4 (KS5 support available) • QTS (pending 2026) • Passion for teaching and developing engaging lessons • Eligibility to work in the UK School Information This Outstanding school in East London is known for its high academic standards, excellent behaviour, and strong focus on staff development.
