Job description
A prestigious and well-established independent school in Surrey is seeking an experienced and strategic Estates Manager to lead the management and development of its site and facilities as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and highly organised Estates Manager to oversee a large and well-maintained campus within a high-performing school environment. The successful Estates Manager will take responsibility for both the operational and strategic management of the estate, ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and presentation. Estates Manager required – ASAP start Independent school in Surrey Full-time, all-year-round leadership role Overseeing site operations, compliance, and long-term estate planning The Role The school is looking for a skilled and forward-thinking Estates Manager who can manage all aspects of the school’s estate effectively. Key responsibilities of the Estates Manager include: Overseeing the maintenance, security, and cleanliness of the school estate Managing site staff, including caretakers, maintenance teams, and cleaning staff Ensuring full compliance with health & safety regulations and statutory requirements Leading planned preventative maintenance and capital projects Managing contractors and overseeing site works and refurbishments Monitoring budgets, procurement, and resource allocation Supporting lettings, events, and wider use of school facilities The School This highly regarded independent school in Surrey is known for its excellent facilities, strong academic outcomes, and well-maintained campus.
