Job description
A high-performing and well-resourced secondary school in Milton Keynes is seeking a skilled and proactive DT Technician to join its successful Design & Technology department as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on DT Technician to support practical teaching within a modern and well-equipped learning environment. The successful DT Technician will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of workshops, supporting staff and students, and maintaining high standards of safety and organisation. DT Technician required – ASAP start Well-resourced secondary school in Milton Keynes Key support role within a thriving DT department Modern workshops with excellent facilities The Role The school is looking for a reliable and organised DT Technician who can support the delivery of practical Design & Technology lessons. Key responsibilities of the DT Technician include: Preparing materials, tools, and equipment for DT lessons and practical sessions Maintaining and organising workshop spaces and specialist equipment Supporting students and staff during practical activities where required Managing stock levels and ordering materials and resources Ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures, including machinery safety Carrying out basic maintenance and repairs of equipment The School This well-resourced secondary school in Milton Keynes is known for its strong facilities and commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.
