Job description
Behaviour Mentor – Supportive Good Secondary School – Nottingham Start Date: As soon as possible Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience School Information This is an 11 to 18 well-established, Good Ofsted Rated secondary school in Arnold, Nottingham, with a strong commitment to inclusion, student wellbeing, and high expectations. The school serves a diverse community and prides itself on its supportive ethos and strong pastoral care systems. Students are encouraged to take responsibility for their behaviour and learning, contributing to a calm and respectful environment. The school offers a broad and balanced curriculum and places significant emphasis on personal development alongside academic success. The Role The school is seeking a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentor to support students with behavioural and emotional needs. You will work closely with pastoral teams to provide targeted interventions and help students engage positively with their education. Key Responsibilities Support students with behaviour and emotional challenges Deliver targeted mentoring and intervention programmes Work closely with pastoral staff and teaching teams Monitor and track student progress and behaviour Build strong relationships with students and families Support the implementation of behaviour policies Promote a positive and inclusive school environment Requirements Experience working with young people in an educational or support setting Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to manage challenging behaviour effectively Patient, resilient, and supportive approach Commitment to inclusion and student wellbeing Application To apply, please send your CV as soon as possible.
