JDR Recruitment are currently recruiting for experienced MIG Welders to join a busy fabrication environment. This is a great opportunity for skilled welders looking for long-term, stable work.
\nShift Pattern (38 hours per week):
\n Monday to Thursday: 6:30am - 4:30pm
Duties include:
\nWelding and Fabrication
\n * Producing chassis and metal components to engineering drawings
\n * Carrying out MIG welding to a high standard
\n * Ensuring all welds meet quality specifications
Assembly and Production
\n * Positioning and securing components using jigs and fixtures
\n * Checking alignment and dimensions against drawings
\n * Supporting general fabrication tasks as required
Quality Control and Inspection
\n * Inspecting welds and finished parts for defects
\n * Reporting faults or issues with equipment or materials
\n * Ensuring all work meets required standards
Health, Safety and Housekeeping
\n * Following all health and safety procedures at all times
\n * Maintaining a clean and organised work area
\n * Wearing appropriate PPE
Candidate Requirements
\n * Previous MIG welding experience is essential
\n * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
\n * Strong attention to detail and quality
\n * Reliable with a good work ethic
Pay Rate
\n £14.53 per hour
