This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to develop their accounting and finance skills within a supportive environment that encourages professional growth and continuous learning. About the Job Working as part of the finance team, you will support the day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring financial records are maintained accurately and processes run efficiently. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a variety of finance functions, including invoice processing, reconciliations, reporting and month-end activities. Key Responsibilities Process invoices, expense claims and purchase orders accurately and efficiently. Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports. Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation. Complete account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities. Respond to internal queries relating to billing, payments and account balances. Work closely with colleagues to ensure compliance with internal controls and company procedures. Support the wider finance team with ad hoc administrative and accounting tasks. Your Skills & Experience Previous experience within a finance, accounts or administration role would be beneficial. Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes. Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. Confident using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure. Capable of working independently and as part of a team. Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop professionally. Desirable Experience Experience using accounting software. Exposure to invoice processing, reconciliations or financial reporting. Previous experience supporting month-end or year-end processes. Experience working within a fast-paced office environment.
