Job description
A prestigious and well-regarded independent school in Plymouth is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Chemistry Teacher to join its successful Science department. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Chemistry Teacher to teach motivated pupils within a supportive and high-achieving academic environment. The successful Chemistry Teacher will teach Chemistry across KS3–KS5, delivering engaging and academically rigorous lessons to students who are eager to learn and succeed. Chemistry Teacher required – September start Independent school in Plymouth Teaching Chemistry across KS3–KS5 Excellent laboratories and small class sizes The Role The school is looking for an inspiring Chemistry Teacher who can deliver high-quality lessons while encouraging students to develop a deep understanding and appreciation of the subject. Responsibilities of the Chemistry Teacher include: Teaching Chemistry across KS3–KS5, including GCSE and A-Level Planning and delivering engaging and challenging lessons Supporting students in developing practical and theoretical scientific skills Monitoring student progress and providing targeted feedback Contributing to enrichment opportunities such as STEM clubs and competitions The School This highly regarded independent school in Plymouth is known for its strong academic standards, excellent pastoral care, and rich co-curricular programme. The Science department is well resourced, with modern laboratories and excellent facilities that support both practical and theoretical learning.
