Job description
Are you a detail-oriented and organised professional seeking a rewarding administrative role in a supportive school environment? We are looking for a Data Officer to join a Good school in Croydon starting April 2026. This is a full-time | permanent position, ideal for someone who enjoys managing data systems and supporting school operations efficiently. About the School This Good school is committed to academic achievement and providing a supportive and inclusive environment for both students and staff. The leadership team values collaboration and professional development, ensuring staff are well supported in their roles. About the Role As Data Officer, you will manage and maintain school databases, ensuring accurate and timely records. You will work closely with staff across the school to support data-driven decision making and help ensure compliance with all statutory reporting requirements. Your responsibilities will include: Maintaining and updating student and staff databases Producing reports for senior leadership and governors Ensuring compliance with data protection regulations Supporting the implementation of new data systems and processes Liaising with staff and external stakeholders regarding data queries Experience and Qualifications Previous experience in a data management or administrative role Strong IT skills and familiarity with school management systems Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Salary Competitive salary in line with experience, including pension and staff benefits Application To be considered for this Data Officer position, please submit your CV as soon as possible
