Job description
A friendly and well-regarded primary school in Oxford is seeking a reliable and experienced Premises Manager to oversee the management and maintenance of the school site as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive Premises Manager to play a key role in ensuring a safe, secure, and well-maintained environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. The successful Premises Manager will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the school premises, ensuring high standards of health & safety, cleanliness, and site presentation. Premises Manager required – ASAP start Primary school in Oxford Full-time, all-year-round role Leadership role within site and facilities team The Role The school is looking for a hands-on and organised Premises Manager who can manage all aspects of site operations effectively. Key responsibilities of the Premises Manager include: Overseeing the maintenance, security, and cleanliness of the school site Carrying out and coordinating planned and reactive maintenance Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations, including risk assessments and statutory checks Managing contractors and supervising work on site Maintaining accurate records of maintenance and compliance Supporting school events, lettings, and out-of-hours activities Managing site budgets and procurement where required The School This welcoming primary school in Oxford has a strong community feel and prides itself on providing a safe and nurturing environment for its pupils.
