Job description
A well-regarded secondary school in Winchester is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Art ECT to join its successful Art department from September. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Art ECT to begin their teaching career within a school that offers strong mentoring and a structured ECT programme. The successful Art ECT will teach Art across KS3 and KS4, working alongside an experienced and collaborative department committed to developing Early Career Teachers. Art ECT required – September start Supportive secondary school in Winchester Strong ECT programme with dedicated mentoring Teaching Art across KS3 and KS4 The Role The school is looking for an enthusiastic Art ECT who can deliver engaging and imaginative lessons that inspire students to explore their creativity and develop strong artistic skills. The successful Art ECT will benefit from a structured induction programme and ongoing support from experienced colleagues. Responsibilities of the Art ECT include: Teaching Art across KS3 and KS4 Planning creative lessons across a range of media including drawing, painting, and mixed media Supporting students in developing coursework portfolios and creative projects Monitoring pupil progress and providing constructive feedback Contributing to displays, exhibitions, and wider Art department activities The School This welcoming secondary school in Winchester has a strong reputation for its inclusive ethos, high expectations, and commitment to staff development.
