Job description
A friendly and inclusive secondary school in Christchurch is seeking a motivated Science ECT to join its successful Science department from September. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Science ECT to begin their teaching career within a welcoming and supportive school environment. The successful Science ECT will teach General Science across KS3 and KS4, working alongside an experienced and collaborative department that is committed to supporting Early Career Teachers. Science ECT required – September start Welcoming secondary school in Christchurch Supportive environment for Early Career Teachers Teaching General Science across KS3 and KS4 The Role The school is looking for an enthusiastic Science ECT who can deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that inspire curiosity and a love for science. The successful Science ECT will benefit from a structured induction programme and strong mentorship. Responsibilities of the Science ECT include: Teaching General Science across KS3 and KS4 Planning and delivering engaging lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback Supporting students of all abilities to achieve their potential Working collaboratively with colleagues within the Science department The School This welcoming secondary school in Christchurch is known for its supportive ethos, strong pastoral care, and commitment to staff development.
