The home offers 80 en suite bedrooms across two floors and provides complex nursing care, specialist dementia care and residential mental health support within a safe and clinically led environment. *Kitchen Assistant Contract* * 12.71 per hour * Contracted to 40 hours per week * Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided * 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract) *Role Overview *Joining a brand new care home from the very beginning offers a genuinely exciting opportunity to help shape the kitchen environment, team culture and day to day dining experience as the service develops.
As part of the team from the outset, you will play an important role in creating a clean, organised and welcoming kitchen where high standards and teamwork are valued. As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment.
This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard. You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation.
Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times.
