Job Description

Department Overview – Group Commercial

The Group Commercial unit englobes the Sales, Relationship Management, Client Services, Marketing, and Product Development teams of IQ-EQ. Group Commercial is the department responsible for the retention of our existing client base in coordination with the rest of the Group, and responsible for overseeing business growth efforts on behalf of IQ-EQ.

One of our key objectives is to grow our profitable portfolio of clients, manage the existing relationship, building long-term relationships, and to ensure the full satisfaction with the services received from IQ-EQ.

This role focuses on supporting the global head of the segment and managing the day-to-day operations essential for the segment’s success. Key responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams on strategy implementation, tracking key performance indicators, overseeing budgets, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Building strong relationships with stakeholders and staying up to date with industry developments are also integral to the position.

What you'll do

  • You'll provide comprehensive support to the Global Head of Segment, managing daily operations, project oversight, reporting obligations (GMT/GSB), and delivering high-quality presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • You'll champion continuous business improvement initiatives, driving productivity, process efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration to design and implement marketing, sales, and operational strategies.
  • You'll deliver actionable business intelligence and strategic insights, analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to empower segment leaders and inform sound decision-making.
  • You'll oversee financial management and compliance, including budget control, forecasting, risk mitigation, and adherence to legal and regulatory standards while safeguarding data integrity and confidentiality.
  • You'll build and maintain strong global relationships, fostering stakeholder engagement, supporting Alpha/Ebury partnerships, and ensuring consistent quality and collaboration across regions.

What we offer

  • Comprehensive remuneration: Competitive financial packages based upon market rates for your role, proportionate to your qualifications, level of experiences and skills profile
  • Pension Scheme: Generous employer contribution with the ability to increase employee contributions
  • Wellbeing: Additional social benefits such as medical insurance & life assurance, discounted gym memberships and the opportunity to engage with our local community via sports activities, charity programmes & environmental initiatives
  • Flexible working: We recognise the value of working flexibly and enable our employees to enjoy an excellent work-life blend
  • Support and development: We will ensure you have the right training, tools and development plan to grow and improve your skills every day.

Qualifications

About you

  • You build effective relationships and leverage executive connectivity, political acumen, and deep knowledge of IQ-EQ product offerings to identify and exploit new opportunities.
  • You demonstrate excellent communication, collaboration, networking, and negotiation skills, while remaining results-driven, adaptable, resilient under pressure, and creative in problem-solving.
  • You apply strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills with initiative, drive, and enthusiasm to deliver impactful outcomes.
  • You possess technical expertise in budget management, financial analysis, and reporting, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • You uphold integrity, professionalism, compliance, and conduct awareness, with a solid understanding of corporate governance frameworks.

Additional Information

Sustainability is integral to our strategy and operations. Our sustainability depends on us building and maintaining long-term relationships with all our stakeholders – including our employees, clients, and local communities – while also reducing our impact on our natural environment.

There is always more we can, and should do, to improve – whether in relation to our people, our clients, our planet, or our governance. Our ongoing success as a business depends on our sustainability and agility in a changing and challenging global landscape. We’re committed to fostering an inclusive, equitable and diverse culture for our people, led by our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion steering committee.

Our learning and development programmes and systems (including PowerU and MyCampus) enable us to invest in growing our employees’ careers, while our hybrid working approach supports our employees in achieving balance and flexibility while remaining connected to their colleagues. We want to empower our 6,500+ employees - from 94 nationalities, across 24 countries - to each achieve their potential. Through IQ-EQ Launchpad we support women managers launching their first fund, in an environment where only 15% of all private equity and venture capital firms are gender balanced.

We’re committed to growing relationships with our clients and supporting them in achieving their objectives. We understand that our clients’ sustainability and success lead to our sustainability and success. We’re emotionally invested in our clients right from the beginning
