Job description
We are seeking an ambitious School Business Manager for an Outstanding secondary school in Jesmond. This role is a strategic leadership position, responsible for the financial, operational, and site health of the school. We are looking for a professional with a pioneering spirit who can ensure that resources are maximized to support an aspirational learning community. About the School This school is a fantastic place to work, featuring a state-of-the-art building and a scholarly atmosphere. It provides a well-ordered workplace where staff treat others as equals and very little learning time is lost to poor behaviour. The leadership team is deeply supportive and values professional excellence at all levels. Responsibilities Lead on strategic financial planning, including budget setting and monitoring Oversee the school’s site management, health & safety, and capital projects Manage the administrative, HR, and catering functions of the school Act as a key advisor to the Headteacher and Board of Governors on business matters Qualifications and Experience DSBM/CSBM qualification or a degree in Business/Finance is highly desirable Proven experience in a senior operational or financial role Must have the right to work in the UK Salary and Benefits Salary Range: £48,000 – £56,000 Full-time, permanent (Part-time considered for the right candidate) Access to a technology-rich workspace and dedicated wellbeing initiatives How to Apply If you are a business professional ready to join an outstanding school, submit your CV now!
