Job description

Pastoral Manager – Dynamic Secondary School – Norwich Start Date: As soon as possible Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Competitive salary depending on experience A well-established Good Ofsted-rated secondary school in Norwich is seeking an experienced and dedicated Pastoral Manager to join its student support team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting young people and ensuring that every student has the guidance and support needed to succeed both academically and personally. The Pastoral Manager will play a key role in maintaining high standards of behaviour, attendance and wellbeing across the school. The Role Key responsibilities include: • Leading pastoral support for a designated year group • Monitoring behaviour, attendance and student progress • Supporting students experiencing behavioural or emotional challenges • Working closely with parents and carers to address concerns • Collaborating with teachers and senior leaders to support student success • Supporting behaviour management systems and interventions • Coordinating pastoral meetings and reviewing student support plans • Maintaining safeguarding records and supporting safeguarding procedures • Liaising with external support agencies when required • Promoting positive behaviour and wellbeing across the school School Information This 11–18 Good Ofsted-rated school in Norwich has built a strong reputation for providing high-quality education within a supportive and inclusive environment.
