Job description

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an outstanding Teacher of PE (Male) to join a highly regarded independent day school in Bristol . This is a superb role for a PE specialist who is passionate about sport, wellbeing and developing confident, resilient young people through outstanding teaching and a strong co-curricular programme. About the Role As Teacher of Male PE , you will teach Physical Education across KS3–KS5 , with the potential to contribute to GCSE PE / BTEC Sport (and A-Level where offered) depending on experience and timetable. You will deliver a well-structured programme that develops: High-quality practical teaching that builds skill, confidence and enjoyment Positive attitudes to fitness, health and lifelong participation Strong routines and high expectations for effort, teamwork and sportsmanship Leadership and resilience through competitive and non-competitive sport Exam confidence where applicable through modelling, deliberate practice and structured feedback You will play an active role in the co-curricular life of the school, contributing to fixtures, training sessions, trips and wider enrichment, helping to maintain a strong sporting culture and broad participation.
