Job description

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an outstanding Teacher of Geography to join a highly regarded independent college in Cambridge . About the Role As Teacher of Geography , you will teach across KS3–KS5 , with a strong focus on GCSE and A-Level. You will deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that develop deep geographical understanding and strong analytical and evaluative skills. You will deliver lessons that: Build strong place knowledge and understanding of physical and human processes Develop map, graph and data interpretation skills through regular practice Strengthen enquiry thinking through contemporary case studies and investigation-style learning Improve extended writing and evaluation through modelling, scaffolding and deliberate practice Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations through precise feedback and strong exam technique There is scope to contribute to enrichment such as fieldwork opportunities, geography clubs, sustainability projects, lectures and university pathway support. The Department Geography is a valued and high-performing subject within the college.
