Job description

A well-established secondary school in Bristol is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive Finance Assistant to join their finance team as soon as possible. This is a full-time, permanent role, offering the opportunity to work within a professional and collaborative school environment. About the Role As a Finance Assistant, you will provide essential support to the Finance Manager and wider school leadership, ensuring accurate financial administration and smooth day-to-day operations. This role requires attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Key Responsibilities • Processing invoices, purchase orders, and payments • Supporting payroll administration and financial record keeping • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records • Reconciling accounts and monitoring budgets • Assisting with financial reporting and auditing tasks • Providing general administrative support to the finance team • Ensuring compliance with financial policies, procedures, and safeguarding requirements School Information This secondary school in Bristol has a reputation for academic excellence, strong student behaviour, and a supportive staff culture.
