Job description
We are excited to be working with a prestigious Independent school in Solihull to recruit a committed School Business Manager. This full-time, permanent position is available for an immediate start and is an excellent opportunity for a professional to join a high-performing team. We are looking for a candidate with a passion for educational operations and a creative approach to managing commercial and financial challenges in a tranquil, scholarly environment. Responsibilities Direct the school’s financial operations, including fee billing and procurement Lead the maintenance and development of the school’s superb facilities Support the development of consistently outstanding quality in HR and payroll procedures Manage commercial opportunities and school lettings to enhance revenue Participate in a strong culture of collaborative planning with the Senior Leadership Team Qualifications and Experience Proven experience in a senior business or financial management role Strong interpersonal skills and a professional, "can-do" attitude Previous experience in an independent school setting is highly desirable Must have the right to work in the UK Salary and Benefits Salary Range: £48,000 – £58,000 ( negotiable for the right candidate ) Full-time, permanent position in a prestigious setting Openness to consideration of flexible working requests Access to technology and modern campus facilities How to Apply If you’re a dedicated professional ready to bring your expertise to a school that values academic rigour, submit your CV now!
