Job description
An exciting opportunity for an AV Technician… A respected educational institution in Bournemouth is looking to appoint a skilled and dependable AV Technician to join its technical support team. This role is integral to supporting high-quality teaching, learning, and a wide range of events across the school. Key Information AV Technician position Full-time, permanent role with an immediate start Provide AV support for lessons, performances, assemblies, and school events Work as part of a collaborative and supportive technical team About the Institution This inclusive and forward-thinking independent school values the use of technology to enhance both learning and communication. Audio-visual resources are central to daily teaching, productions, and extracurricular activities, making the AV team essential to the smooth running of the school. Location & Salary Bournemouth-based role Start date: As soon as possible Salary: Competitive, depending on experience Experience & Skills Required Demonstrable experience with AV systems, including audio, lighting, projection, and video Confidence in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting AV equipment for lessons and events Good understanding of health and safety practices related to AV and electrical systems Strong organisational abilities and capacity to manage competing priorities Clear communication skills and a professional, supportive approach Ability to work independently and collaboratively Right to work in the UK How to Apply If you are a motivated and technically skilled AV Technician seeking a varied and fulfilling role in an educational setting, we would welcome your application.
