SEND Support Assistants / SEN Teaching Assistants to work in welcoming and supportive
primary and secondary schools across the BD7 Bradford area. This role is ideal for individuals who are dedicated to helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential.\n
\nSchools are looking for
patient, proactive, and caring support staff who can work closely with pupils who may have
autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language needs, learning difficulties, or social and emotional needs (SEMH).\n
\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for
experienced SEN Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants, graduates considering a career in education, or support workers looking to transition into schools.\n

\nYour Role as a SEND Support Assistant\n
\n - Provide 1:1 support or small group support for pupils with SEN / SEND needs
\n - Support children with autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
\n - Help pupils stay engaged and focused during lessons
\n - Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff
\n - Support pupils’ academic progress, emotional wellbeing, and behaviour management
\n
What Schools Are Looking For\n
\n - Experience supporting children with SEND / SEN (school or care setting preferred)
\n - Patient, caring, and resilient personality
\n - Strong communication and behaviour support skills
\n - Ability to build positive relationships with pupils
\n - Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
\n
