Job description
Are you a highly organised and proactive professional looking to work in a dynamic school environment? We are seeking a full-time Headteacher’s Personal Assistant (PA) to join a Good-rated secondary school in Peterborough, starting ASAP. This permanent role provides essential administrative and strategic support to the Headteacher, enabling the smooth operation of the school and contributing to its continued success. About the Role As Headteacher’s PA, you will provide comprehensive administrative and organisational support, acting as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. You will manage communications, schedules, and key projects, ensuring the Headteacher’s priorities are effectively executed. Key responsibilities include: Managing the Headteacher’s diary, meetings, and appointments Coordinating correspondence, emails, and phone communications Preparing reports, presentations, and briefing documents Organising school events, meetings, and strategic projects Liaising with staff, parents, governors, and external agencies Supporting the senior leadership team with administrative tasks and data management Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times Experience and Skills The successful candidate will: Have previous experience as a PA, secretary, or senior administrator Be highly organised, proactive, and able to prioritise tasks effectively Demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, and IT skills Be confident managing complex diaries and sensitive information Work well independently and collaboratively within a team Why Join This School?
