Job description
We are excited to be working with an Outstanding secondary school in Birmingham to recruit a committed Finance Assistant. This full-time, permanent position starts immediately and is a fantastic opportunity for a high-calibre individual to join a successful administrative faculty. We are looking for an enthusiast who can manage the day-to-day financial logistics, contributing to a scholarly and well-ordered school environment. About the School This school is a fantastic place to work and develop, having maintained its 'Outstanding' status across all categories. It is a heavily oversubscribed school with high standards and high expectations. The school provides superb facilities and a leadership team that is deeply supportive, offering a strong culture of professional development and a dedicated focus on staff wellbeing. Responsibilities Process monthly payroll data and ensure high standards of accuracy Monitor departmental budgets and support teachers with resource procurement Contribute to the development of consistently outstanding financial procedures Act as a professional liaison for external suppliers and auditors Participate in professional development sessions focused on school finance Qualifications and Experience Experience in a busy office or finance environment Excellent communication skills and a professional manner Ability to handle complex data with precision and care Must have the right to work in the UK Salary and Benefits Salary Range: £27,000 – £33,000 ( negotiable for the right candidate ) Full-time, permanent position with a leadership team committed to wellbeing Access to technology and modern facilities to support outstanding service Supportive and collaborative staff community How to Apply If you’re a dedicated professional ready to join a school that values high standards and excellence, submit your CV now!
