Job description
A respected independent school in Reading is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join its successful department from April. This is an excellent opportunity to teach in a school known for small class sizes, strong pastoral care, and a supportive academic environment where students are encouraged to develop curiosity and confidence in the sciences. About the Role The successful candidate will teach Science across KS3 & KS4, delivering engaging lessons that help students develop a strong understanding of scientific principles and practical investigation. The role will involve: Teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 Delivering engaging lessons that promote curiosity and analytical thinking Encouraging practical scientific investigation and experimentation Preparing students effectively for GCSE examinations Contributing to the continued development of the Science curriculum You will join a supportive Science department that values collaboration and high-quality teaching. The Ideal Candidate Qualified Teacher with QTS (or equivalent) Strong subject knowledge in Science Ability to teach Science across KS3 & KS4 Passion for practical learning and student engagement A collaborative and proactive teaching approach Interested?
