About the Role: The Site Officer plays a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the school site, maintaining facilities, ensuring safety, and supporting events. Responsibilities include: Conducting routine maintenance and repairs across buildings, grounds, and facilities. Monitoring and maintaining security systems, including alarms, CCTV, and access control. Supervising and supporting cleaning and facilities staff where required. Coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure the smooth running of site operations. Assisting with the setup and support of school events, meetings, and activities. Maintaining accurate records, logs, and reports related to site management and maintenance. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures. Experience and Qualifications: Previous experience in site management, caretaking, or facilities maintenance preferred. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures. Practical, hands-on skills and the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems. Strong organisational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
