Job description
An excellent and well-established secondary school in Taunton is seeking a passionate Design & Technology Teacher to join its successful DT department from April. The school has a strong reputation for academic progress and practical learning, with Design & Technology playing an important role in encouraging creativity, innovation, and problem-solving among students. About the Role The successful candidate will teach Design & Technology across KS3 & KS4, delivering engaging lessons that develop students’ design thinking, technical knowledge, and practical workshop skills. The role will involve: Teaching Design & Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4 Delivering practical lessons that encourage creativity and problem-solving Preparing students for GCSE Design & Technology examinations Supporting project-based learning and design coursework Contributing to the continued development of the DT curriculum You will join a supportive department that values practical learning and collaborative teaching.
