Job description
We are seeking an ambitious HR Officer for an Outstanding secondary school in Canley. This permanent position starts in April 2026 and offers a brilliant opportunity for a professional to join a successful administrative faculty. You will lead on the day-to-day operational HR functions, ensuring that the school remains a productive and happy workspace for all staff. Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, from drafting high-calibre ads to onboarding Maintain the Single Central Record (SCR) to an outstanding quality and ensuring statutory compliance Act as the first point of contact for staff queries regarding payroll, pensions, and leave Support the Senior Leadership Team with employee relations and policy development Foster a desire for professional excellence across the administrative department Qualifications and Experience CIPD Level 3 or 5 is highly desirable Proven experience in HR, preferably within an educational or public sector setting Meticulous attention to detail and a professional manner Must have the right to work in the UK Salary and Benefits Salary Range: £28,500 – £35,000 Full-time, permanent position (Part-time considered for the right candidate) Dedicated member of the SLT responsible for staff wellbeing Access to professional development and modern facilities How to Apply If you are an HR professional ready to join an outstanding school community, submit your CV now!
