Job description
Honeycomb is delighted to be partnering with a highly respected, long-established legal practice in Belfast to recruit an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving litigation department within a firm renowned for its supportive culture, quality work, and long-standing reputation in the local legal market. The Opportunity If you're an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary looking for your next move, this role offers the chance to work alongside a highly regarded team handling a broad range of litigation matters. You'll play a key role in supporting fee earners, managing busy case files, and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day legal operations. Experience supporting High Court and County Court litigation is essential. Salary & Benefits * Market-leading salary DOE - £27,000 - £33,000 * 20 days annual leave plus statutory holidays * Ongoing training and career development opportunities * Friendly, supportive team culture * Modern Belfast office with excellent transport links Key Responsibilities * Preparing, formatting, and proofreading legal documents, correspondence, and court papers * Managing litigation files from opening through to completion in line with firm procedures * Audio typing and document production * Coordinating diaries, meetings, court dates, and key deadlines * Handling client enquiries via telephone and email professionally and efficiently * Providing comprehensive secretarial support to Solicitors within the litigation team * Preparing documentation for court proceedings and ensuring deadlines are met * Liaising with clients, Counsel, medical experts, courts, and third parties * Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with legal procedures and regulatory requirements * Assisting with the smooth day-to-day operation of a busy litigation department About You * Previous Litigation experience is essential * Experience supporting High Court and County Court matters * Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail * Strong audio typing and document production abilities * Confident communicator with a professional and client-focused approach * Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems * Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment * Positive, proactive, and team-oriented mindset For a confidential discussion about this opportunity, please submit your CV via the link or contact Caoimhe Fairfield at Honeycomb directly: Email: Telephone: If you require any adjustments during the recruitment process, please let us know and we will be happy to assist.
