A large and well-established secondary school in Hackney is seeking a highly organised and discreet PA to the Headteacher to provide professional, high-level executive support. This is a pivotal role within the school, working closely with the Headteacher and senior leadership team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of daily operations. The PA role is central to maintaining that structure and professionalism. The Role As PA to the Headteacher, you will act as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that communication is managed efficiently and confidentially. Key responsibilities include: • Managing the Headteacher’s complex diary and scheduling priorities • Preparing meeting agendas, papers and detailed minutes • Handling sensitive correspondence with discretion • Coordinating SLT meetings and governance documentation • Supporting HR processes and compliance deadlines • Acting as liaison between the Headteacher, governors and external agencies You will be expected to anticipate needs, manage competing priorities and maintain exceptional attention to detail.
