TP Tutors, part of Teaching Personnel, is recruiting dedicated 1:1 Tutors to support children and young people across Nuneaton.

Working closely with schools, we receive regular referrals for learners who require personalised one-to-one tuition. Once you've completed our compliance process, you'll receive tuition opportunities that match your experience, subject specialism, preferred travel area, and availability.

Tuition takes place during school hours in learners' homes, schools, community settings, or alternative provisions, helping pupils build confidence, re-engage with learning, and achieve their educational goals.

Pay

Working Pattern

• Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities.
• Tuition typically takes place Monday to Friday during school hours.
• Long-term and ongoing assignments available.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and personalised 1:1 tuition tailored to each learner's needs.
• Teach Primary, Secondary, GCSE, Functional Skills, and/or SEND learners.
• Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the UK National Curriculum and individual learning goals.
• Adapt teaching methods to support a range of learning needs and abilities.
• Monitor learner progress and complete session reports.
• Build positive relationships with learners, families, schools, and education professionals.
• Encourage confidence, independence, and a positive attitude towards learning.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' teaching or tutoring experience delivering the UK National Curriculum.
• Experience teaching Primary, Secondary, GCSE, Functional Skills, or SEND.
• Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.
• Excellent communication, behaviour management, and relationship-building skills.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, or the ability to travel reliably between tuition locations.
• Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.

Desirable

• QTS, PGCE, or another recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience supporting learners with SEND, including ASC, ADHD, SEMH, dyslexia, or speech and language needs.
• Experience delivering tuition in homes, schools, community settings, or alternative provisions.
• Knowledge of EHCPs.

This role covers Nuneaton. Applicants should be willing to travel to learners' homes, schools, and other tuition settings across the local area.
