We are currently recruiting Night Hygiene Operatives to join our dedicated hygiene team at ABP Langport. The Role

As a Night Hygiene Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all plant, machinery, and production areas are cleaned to the highest standards. Your work will help maintain a safe, hygienic, and food-safe environment, ensuring the site is ready for the next day's production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean plant equipment and machinery in line with company cleaning schedules and operating procedures.
• Carry out cleaning activities using approved COSHH procedures and safe working practices.
• Use cleaning materials and resources efficiently to minimise waste.
• Report machinery, equipment, or maintenance issues to supervisors promptly.
• Support the maintenance of effective hygiene standards across the site.
• Work safely and responsibly while following all food safety and health & safety requirements.

What We're Looking For

• Reliable and trustworthy individuals who can work with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support colleagues when required.
• Good levels of literacy and numeracy to understand training materials, operating instructions, and COSHH procedures.
• Ability to undertake physically demanding work.
• Previous cleaning or hygiene experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
