What You’ll Be Doing Inspiring Year 5 students: Plan, prepare, and deliver exciting, engaging lessons that challenge and motivate Year 5 students in literacy, numeracy, and beyond. Supporting growth: Help students develop the skills they need as they prepare for the transition to Key Stage 2 and secondary school. Creating an engaging classroom: Foster a positive and dynamic classroom environment where learning is fun, interactive, and student-centered. Tracking progress: Regularly assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and set clear goals to help students achieve their best. Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and deliver a creative, cohesive curriculum. Communication with parents: Build strong relationships with parents, keeping them informed of their child’s progress and addressing any concerns. Who We’re Looking For A qualified Year 5 Teacher with experience teaching Key Stage 2 or a passion for teaching at this level. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A solid understanding of the National Curriculum and how to effectively teach Year 5 students. A team player who thrives on collaboration and sharing ideas. An effective communicator who can build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
