Job description
An Outstanding secondary school in Oxford is seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their faculty from January 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire students through engaging teaching and to be part of a department that consistently achieves excellent outcomes. Key Details • Full-time, permanent Science Teacher position starting January 2026 • Ofsted Outstanding school with a strong academic reputation • Join a high-performing Science department with excellent CPD and support Experience and Qualifications • Qualified Science Teacher with QTS (PGCE or equivalent) • Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics • Experience teaching across KS3–KS5 desirable • Ability to plan and deliver innovative, engaging lessons • Enthusiastic about supporting extracurricular enrichment such as science fairs and STEM clubs • Legal right to work in the UK School Information • Ofsted Outstanding school with excellent exam results at GCSE and A-Level • Well-equipped laboratories and strong ICT support for practical and theoretical work • A tradition of preparing students for Russell Group universities and STEM careers • Supportive SLT with a clear focus on professional development and staff wellbeing • Motivated students who are eager to succeed and engage positively in lessons Salary • Paid to scale on MPS / UPS Application • To be considered for this Science Teacher role, please forward an updated CV as soon as possible.
