Job description
Economics Teacher – Full-time, Permanent – Havering • Economics Teacher required from January 2026 • Full-time, permanent position at a well-regarded secondary school in Havering • Teach Economics at KS4 and KS5, with opportunities for curriculum leadership Our client in Havering is looking for an Economics Teacher with strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm to inspire students in business and economics concepts. Economics is a huge subject in the school with Economics being the most sought-after A level and GCSE subject. Key Requirements: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it • Ability to teach Economics at GCSE and A-Level • Excellent communication and classroom management skills • Commitment to student success and school values This role is suited for teachers keen to develop leadership skills while delivering rigorous academic programmes.
