Job description
A wonderful opportunity has arisen for a dedicated English Teacher to join a highly regarded independent school in Newcastle, starting January 2026 . This role involves teaching across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), with potential to specialise or teach A‑Level English Literature or Language at Key Stage 5. The school prides itself on academic excellence and supports all staff via structured mentoring and high‑quality resources. The English department features well‑resourced classrooms, access to a wide range of texts (classic and modern), and emphasis on developing student confidence in reading, writing, critical thinking, and analysing literature.
