Job description
Music ECT required January 2026 Brilliant School based in Newcastle Music ECT to join a highly successful and well-resourced department Our Client is looking for a Music ECT to work within a well-established school in Newcastle. The successful Music ECT will be expected to teach at KS3 & KS4. The department is well resourced and led by an inspiring Head of Music who encourages creativity and collaboration. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ECT to begin their teaching career in a nurturing and inspiring setting. School Information: This is a highly respected secondary school based in the heart of Newcastle. The school has a strong commitment to the arts and provides excellent facilities, including a music studio, practice rooms and performance hall. Students are enthusiastic, talented and engaged, participating actively in concerts and musical ensembles throughout the year. The school is known for its friendly and collegiate staff culture, making it an ideal environment for ECTs. Teachers receive structured mentoring, professional development sessions and dedicated time for lesson preparation.
