Job description

About the Role: An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a talented and committed Psychology Teacher to join a leading Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ secondary school in Watford from January 2026. The successful candidate will inspire curiosity, debate, and analytical thinking across KS4 and KS5, delivering engaging lessons that connect psychological theory with real-world application. Key Responsibilities: • Plan and deliver stimulating Psychology lessons for GCSE and A-Level students. • Encourage students to critically analyse psychological concepts and research methods. • Create a supportive learning environment that promotes independent thought and inquiry. • Track, assess, and report on student achievement with clarity and precision. • Contribute to the development of the Social Sciences Department, including enrichment programmes. • Engage with current psychological research and integrate relevant examples into lessons.
