Job description
The Role: Full-time Design Technology Teacher position, ideal for an Early Career Teacher (ECT). Deliver engaging Design Technology lessons across various disciplines. Benefit from a comprehensive ECT induction program and ongoing mentorship from experienced colleagues. Contribute to the development of engaging and practical Design Technology projects. Foster a love of design and making among students. About the School: Supportive and nurturing independent school in Hackney committed to developing ECTs. Comprehensive ECT induction program with dedicated mentors. Welcoming and collaborative staff environment. Modern facilities and resources. Located in a vibrant and creative area of Hackney. The Ideal Candidate: Enthusiastic and motivated Design Technology Teacher with a passion for teaching. Strong subject knowledge and a desire to develop teaching skills. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Eager to learn and grow as a teacher. Eligibility to work in the UK. Qualifications & Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it. Degree in Design Technology or a related field. Strong interest in teaching Design Technology at all key stages. Knowledge of current design technologies and practices.
