About the Role An Independent school in Barnet requires a skilled Maths Teacher, starting ASAP for a temporary, full-time position. You will deliver engaging maths lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4. We are looking for a dedicated Maths Teacher. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging Maths Teacher lessons, tailored to the curriculum. Prepare students for GCSE examinations. Develop students' mathematical skills and problem-solving abilities. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback. Contribute to the development of maths resources. Potentially lead maths-related extracurricular activities. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Mathematics. Proven experience in teaching maths at secondary level. Strong mathematical skills and knowledge. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to engage and motivate students.
