Job description
A welcoming and high-achieving 11–18 school in Worcestershire is seeking a passionate and reflective Teacher of English (ECT) to join its vibrant English faculty from September 2026. This Good Ofsted-rated school is known for its inclusive ethos, supportive leadership and strong commitment to staff development. English is one of the school’s flagship subjects, consistently achieving excellent outcomes and fostering a real love of reading and writing among students. The Opportunity This role offers an ideal start for an Early Career Teacher. You’ll teach English across KS3–KS4, supported by an experienced mentor and a reduced timetable during your induction year. The department works collaboratively, sharing resources, planning and assessments, giving you a strong foundation to develop your teaching.
