Job description
Science Teacher – Outstanding School in Wolverhampton (ECT’s Welcome) Are you an enthusiastic Science Teacher ready to begin your teaching career in a supportive and well-resourced department? A highly regarded secondary school in Wolverhampton is seeking a motivated Science Teacher to join their team from January 2026 . This position is open to both ECTs and experienced teachers. About the School This school is recognised for its excellent academic outcomes and a genuinely supportive working culture. Staff welfare is prioritised, and the leadership team promotes collaboration, professional development, and high-quality teaching. Classrooms are modern, behaviour is consistently strong, and students are focused and eager to learn. About the Science Department The Science team is friendly, experienced, and committed to creating engaging lessons across KS3–KS4. The department benefits from dedicated labs, specialist technicians, and a well-sequenced curriculum that helps ECTs settle in quickly. About the Role – Teach Science across KS3 and KS4 – Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured lessons – Assess and track pupil progress in line with school policies – Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental initiatives – Participate in CPD and support whole-school activities Experience and Qualifications – Degree in a Science-related subject – QTS / PGCE (ECTs welcome) – Strong subject knowledge and commitment to high standards Salary Paid to scale – MPS/UPS.
