A friendly Good primary in Peterborough invites applications for a reflective Year 2 Teacher on a Part-Time contract, with a January 2026 start . The Part-Time Year 2 Teacher will begin handover and pre-term planning before the January 2026 start , attend induction in January 2026 and teach on a Part-Time timetable from the January 2026 start . This Part-Time arrangement is designed to give the Year 2 Teacher meaningful classroom impact while maintaining a sustainable workload. • Year 2 Teacher — Part-Time role — January 2026 start • Good-rated primary in Peterborough seeking an enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher • Part-Time Year 2 Teacher to join a supportive KS1 phase with excellent TA support — January 2026 start Year 2 Teacher Responsibilities • The Year 2 Teacher will plan and deliver high-quality Year 2 lessons including phonics, guided reading and number work. • The Year 2 Teacher will assess pupils, run timely interventions and liaise with parents as the Year 2 Teacher . • The Part-Time Year 2 Teacher will attend phase meetings, CPD and moderation sessions scheduled around the January 2026 start . Year 2 Teacher Requirements • QTS and recent KS1 experience as a Year 2 Teacher . • Strong phonics practice and calm classroom management expected of the Year 2 Teacher . • A collaborative Year 2 Teacher who will engage in planning and training prior to the January 2026 start and during January 2026 as a Part-Time colleague.
